We've teamed up with Appota Pay to embed a seamless insurance solution directly into their app! It's truly a natural fit, as Appota's app is already a vibrant hub of mini-portals for essential services, ranging from online medical checks and educational courses to savings tools and even language learning. This means we're bringing financial protection right to where users already engage with important life services. We're offering a diverse range of cancer insurance plans, specifically tailored to fit various customer needs and ensure everyone can find a plan that works for them. Our goal is to make insurance more accessible and incredibly convenient for everyone, right where they need it.
Choice of Platform
Choosing Appota as our platform was a no-brainer; they already had a robust payment ecosystem, perfect for embedding our insurance service. We built a dedicated insurance portal within the Appota app, giving their customers one-click access to our offerings. As their sole insurance provider at the time, we fully owned and managed this portal, exclusively showcasing our products. For a swift launch, this portal began as a direct link embedded in the Appota app, allowing us to maintain complete control over our platform while leveraging Appota's app as our primary service showcase.
Providing pre-suggested plans helps simplify the decision-making process, encouraging quicker adoption. We've rolled out three sum assured options: 100, 300, and 500 million VND, with premiums ranging from 300,000 VND to a maximum of 1,500,000 VND, regardless of the life-assured's gender.

For Appota, cancer insurance remains our flagship offering. It's easily customizable into various plans, perfectly fitting Appota's diverse customer base. Unlike our NURA approach, where we fixed the premium and flexed the sum assured by age, for Appota, we opted to fix the sum assured across different plans. This was a strategic move, recognizing that many Appota Pay users might not have a strong insurance background.
Journey & Sales model

The journey built for this product is quite simple:
(1) Customer accessé Appota Pay app→ (2) Customer accesses “Buying insurance” in the service section → (3) Customer chooses the insurance package and buy insurance → (4) Policy issuance→ (5) Customer gets after-sales service

This sales model is actually categorized as pure digital where customers can be advertised or introduced to insurance in Appota pay app or customer access the insurance by themself if interested.
